Anue Systems Announces “Combo” Network Emulator Systems

Austin, TEXAS — July 12, 2004 — Anue Systems, the leading provider of Network Impairment and Delay Emulators, has combined the capabilities of four different products into one. Anue’s SONET/SDH Signal Delay, SONET/SDH Path Delay, Gigabit Ethernet Signal Delay, and Fibre Channel Signal Delay functionality is now available on one “Combo” system. Each of these capabilities is sold as a separate software load on top of the same base hardware platform.

“With the ability to mix and match each of our Network Impairment loads, we now have over 40 different system permutations available,” described Hemi Thaker, President and CEO of Anue Systems. “This means customers can buy one Anue box that performs GigE and Fibre Channel Delay, for example, or SONET Signal Delay plus SONET Path Delay. Previously, they had to buy two or more separate testers to achieve this functionality.”

Anue Systems’ M Series line of Network Impairment and Delay Emulators cover SONET/SDH (up to 2.5 Gbps), Gigabit Ethernet, and Fibre Channel.
