Medusa Labs - Lab Overview

Medusa labs maintains a lab that can be easily customized for the testing of virtually any product or configuration. Our main lab is completely confidential and customers are not allowed in this lab. We have private debug rooms that can be customized for your needs. We feel that this is the best way to maintain complete confidentiality for all of our customers.

Lab Equipment

Our lab is equipped with a multitude of equipment, not all of which is provided by Medusa Labs. Many of our customers and partners have found that it is beneficial for them to leave their equipment at our lab after testing is complete so that their products can get additional exposure during future testing projects.



Servers - Multiple vendors represented - Numerous processor platforms and chipsets.

Analyzers and injectors - Fibre Channel iSCSI, SAS, SATA, USB, PCI, PCI-X, PCI-E, Gigabith Ethernet, and SCSI.

Hubs and switches - Fibre Channel and Ethernet - multiple vendors represented.

Host Bus Adapters - Fibre Channel, RAID, SCSI, Ethernet - Dozens of varieties covering multiple vendors.

Transceivers - Multiple vendors represented - Copper and optical.

Storage - Fibre Channel, iSCSI, SATA, SAS, USB, and SCSI - Internal and External - multiple vendors represented.

Facility

Built in 2001; Located in the TechRidge Office Park in North Austin

16,000 square feet

Closed-door main lab and three separate customer debug rooms

Full security: closed-door labs, badge access, no windows, video security cameras

13 mi of cable; T1 lines and fiber into each lab

150 tons of A/C for the main lab alone

110 & 220 volt overhead power

Access for large equipment: rear dock, double doors
