ML240 is an introduction to the technical fundamentals of the FCIP architecture. It is intended for anyone requiring an introduction to FCIP architecture including: Design Engineers, Field Application Engineers, Test Engineers and Technical Marketing professionals.

Course Objective

Students develop a working knowledge of the IETF standards-based FCIP architecture and behavior through lecture and protocol analysis exercises.

Prerequisites

A working understanding of Fibre Channel Framing and Fibre Channel Fabric concepts is required.

Course Format


This course is a combination of lecture and protocol analysis experiments. Protocol analysis is interspersed throughout the 1-day course to reinforce the concepts discussed in each lecture portion of the class.
